After visiting this store on a few occasions and realizing that I would recieve the same rude, uninviting, and unapologetic attitude from everyone I encountered there...I decided that it was well worth the couple extra bucks a movie; and/or waiting in line at a Redbox to avoid these guys at all costs. They don't treat their customers well at all to the point of making you feel uncomfortable, the manager disciplines her employees in front of customers while making them wait and watch (very weird way to humilate people), and when the make mistakes (which happens ALOT) they treat you as if it were your fault!\t\n\t\nI would not recommend that anyone ever waste there time going into this place....I gave it literally three months worth of business before I finally decided it wasn't just me. Trust me...it's definately not worth the hassle!!!!! ...read more

I tried buying parts from these jokers. They took my money and told me it would take a month or so to get me my parts. A week later they close shop never sent me my parts or my money back and now i have to go to small claims court to get my money back. They are loosers that should be in jail for stealing from people. ...read more

Nissan Skyline and Dyno tuning

We had a turbo Civic on the dyno yesterday. Did not do too badly, putting 249 HP to the ground. Today we have a 69 GTO 426 c.i. car on the dyno but it is not running very well. I think it needs some tuning. The 1995 Nissan Skyline GTR is getting some additional oil plumbing done. We built a head drain as the heads on the RB26 is known for keeping the oil at the head and not allowing it back to the pan and causing oil starvation. The issue is the drain is not evacuating the line back into the pan and allowing an excessive amount of oil coming out of the Cam Cover vents. We are adding a small electric oil pump that will be activated by the AEM ECU at a certain throttle position to actually pull the oil down the line and back into the pan. ...read more

Parts, Parts, Parts

There are times when this business is extremely trying on those who work here. You wait for parts and when you ge them, they can be wrong or not fit correctly or just flat out be broken. We put a new Cam Shaft into a Corvette and bought a top name Timing chain set. When the Sprocket was install the cam would no longer turn. We double checked the install and it still would not turn. We contacted the timing chain set company and they sent us a new bearing that rides up against the block. We waited for 3 days for that and it still did not fix the issue. We found out the snout on the Cam was too short. We machined the inside of the timing gear and all worked but we lost 4 days all together on this project. Enough rambling: The Skyline is going back on the dyno today and we hope to be over 600 HP to the ground. Don ...read more

Delivering Cars!

3 cars were delivered Friday. That's always a good thing. 1965 Cobra replica went home after putting down 390 hp and 430 ft lb of tq. 1989 Toyota Supra witha  turbo upgrade to a 60 size turbo went home. Unfortunately the car has electrical issues as many of the connectors under the hood are broken. The customer has chosen to fix these items himself and will bring the car back when it is ready to be put on the dyno. 1993 Mitsubishi Eclipse. We do not usually work on Eclipses but this is a long time car around the shop. It did not want to idle. We found bad injector base seals and the fuel pump was runnig weak. A new pump and some seals and it ran much better. We should be finishing up the Corvette engine build today and hopefully have it on the dyno tomorrow. We also had a 1955 Buick Roadmaster dropped off today so we can get the power steering pump rebuilt. It is a 38k original mile car and is absolutely beautiful. Thanks, Don ...read more

Racing a Manual Transmission Car

If you have ever raced a manual transmission against an automatic, you may have noticed that even if the two cars are similar styles the manual either seems to have a great advantage or just the opposite. Best Ways to Take Auto Racing Photos

Automobile races have a reputation for being difficult to photograph. In part, this is because the speed of cars when they are actually racing requires special techniques, usually panning with the motion of a car to freeze its motion while blurring the background, thus giving an impression of speed.
