Worthington is a part of the Dubuque County region/metro area of Iowa. Major attractions include National Farm Toy Museum and Field of Dreams Movie Site. Each year in the summer season there is the St. Paul's Parish Parade. Among the biggest companies in Worthington is Diamond Woodworking. The biggest schools here are St. Paul School and Saint Pauls Elementary School. One of the best places to visit when you are in Worthington is Dyersville Golf and Country Club.

An employee driving an oil truck for Demmer Oil Company passed my family in a no passing zone going in excess of 70 miles per hour on a rural highway. When he quickly cut back in front of us (because he was in a no passing zone) he threw a rock into our windshield leaving a quarter sized "chip". When my husband confronted the driver at the next 4-way stop, the driver spouted profanities at him and drove away. I called the company and although they seemed concerned at the time, they have completed ignored my phone calls since the original incident.
