I recently (voluntarily) began anger management therapy. after searching and searching and asking around, i finally found a real PROGRAM directly dealing with anger management, not just therapy. I was anxious to better myself and my life. I was assigned to Leslie. I was unable to relate to her, she made comments that offended me and even smirked at some of the things i said in therapy. here i was, vulnerable, bearing my soul, and i was blindsided. after writing a detailed letter as to WHY (which included specific, word for word, not up for interperetation, examples of what she said) i asked for a new therapist. they said that wasn't their policy. I begged and pleaded saying i need HELP can't you make an exception? I'm in trouble here please you are the ONLY PLACE IN TOWN that offers this program. they said no. go somewhere else. we can't help you. I now feel the need to take a tape recorder into future therapy sessions with anyone. thanks. ...read more
