I have eaten at Noah's over 20 times. I love Italian food and I am married to a true Italian princess. Why have I eaten at Noah's so many times if I do not like it there? Simple, my boss is friends with Jim, Noah's son and he bring us all there every once and a while. I am hardly able to choke down the raviolis or spaghetti as it is worse than what I would expect to find in a can. The deserts are great....they should be since they are boxed and come from elsewhere. \t\n\t\nThe story about the glass shards being in that old mans bread is absolutely true. Noah was furious about it and instructed his staff that if they discussed it with anyone they would be fired.\t\n\t\nHere is a funny story, the last time we were there my boss asked me why I always order the salad and a beer and when I told him my opinion of the food he laughed and laughed. He informed me that he didn't like it either, he thought it was just him. So now we are looking for new restaurants in Des Moines to try out, but it certainly will not be Noah's Ark again. ...read more

I must consistently go on a different night from the complalners. I was a regular at Noah's until we moved, then have come back several times since. Never had a problem with service or with the food.\t\n\t\nI will say that, since Noah really isn't in charge anymore (as said, he's no longer young), the management is going downhill, something for which I would certainly call Jim on the carpet. \t\n\t\nAttitudes have changed since the fire. I wish they would snap out of it. \t\n\t\nAs for the old bird who mentioned Noah's behaviour with someone else, I suggest keeping her own garden clean, and if it is upsetting to her, please stay out of Noah's. \t\n\t\n(I would have liked to give a 4 1/2, so leaned on the positive side of that final star.
