BATHROOM REMODEL, TERMINATED 7/6/2015 - PICTURES AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST Damages / Rework / Work to be completed: Carpet stains Damaged Kitchen wall Damaged hall bathroom wall; the repair work isn’t right Damaged / torn entryway rug Bathroom Vanity leg was not installed properly which resulted in damage to it Granite top is scratched Bathroom Wall where the sconces are were not properly patched Sconces were installed incorrectly per the spec Glass cover cracked Vanity faucet is scratched Medicine Cabinet Mirror not mounted correctly and is scratched Shower valve installed incorrectly and stripped; doesn’t work properly Floor heater not installed per instructions Floor heater does not work; cold spots, thermostat never shuts off Linen Closet installation; gaps and overlap Damaged floor vent cover Ceiling – old section doesn’t match the new section; paint buckles. Popcorn ceiling was sanded off instead of being removed in the proper manner. Wall Painted; didn’t use color requested and there are visible drips Caulking looks sloppy Paint between ceiling and mosaic tile is sloppy Didn’t follow instructions for installing light switches and covers – used wrong size screws resulting in issues - end result he used super glue which dripped on tile Light panel inside of the door: First turns on by touching bottom, middle by touch top and last by touching bottom Light switch covers installed upside down Outlets on left and right side of sink push in when you plug something in Pocket door was installed incorrectly leaving gaps and damage to the door The lock does not line up to actually lock the door. The trim used for both the window and door were damaged and not stained Mosaic tile around the bathroom is not the same height Floor tile is uneven Grout on floor is chipping Grout on floor, glass and walls are not tight and straight Gaps in glass / wall / floor grouting Door opening to shower is 33” after rework from 27”; neither are to spec of 30” Rework still was not quality work resulting in uneven grout work Don’t know if the proper sheet rock was used let alone properly taped and mudded Towel hooks not installed properly Shower bench tile and grout cracking Wall tiles have paint and grout stains Floor tiles have stains Shower fixtures not caulked to wall Didn’t install the provided insulation to ceiling as asked When bathroom job was “Finished” room was not cleaned, floor and walls filthy Water leaking from cold water connection and drain pipe When questioned was answered "trust me, I have been doing this for 20 years" and then later there was no pleasing us. Hours were to be 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Never showed up before 10:00 am and at times was asked to leave at midnight. ~$100 in change missing out of granddaughter's piggy bank. ...read more

Affordable installed a high efficiency furnace in my home that began leaking a few days later. They charged me am additional service fee to come out and repair their install, but it is still leaking. Extremely unhappy about my level of service. I'll be happy to update my review if they make good on their guarantee and fix the leak! If you see no update, my furnace is still leaking! ...read more
