I live in Caroll, Ia, so I went over to Ames (60 miles) to look at a guitar. Had a pocket full of cash and when I got in the store. There was some old dude with white hair sitting behind the counter.I was looking and decided I needed to get some guitar strings. I simply asked the old guy if they have any Ernie Ball Cobalt strings in and he looked at me stone faced and said "do you see a spot for them?" I said no and he replied, and I quote "Then we don't carry them" in an extremely rude manner. Then went back to his computer. I was appalled and decided to go elsewhere to get my new ax. That night I went home and e-mailed the company to inform them of how poor their customer service was. That was well over a month ago and absolutely no response. Epic fail on Reimans part. I purchased 2 violins from Hoshaw violin, one for me and one for my daughter. My daughter's Germunder violin was made in 1890, but the top had been destroyed. Randy made a top to match it perfectly, and it is an excellent violin! ...read more
