Welch Ave has become one of my favorite bars in Ames over the past few months. The drinks are always at a great price and made just right. I have gotten really tired of bars that serve drinks that are way to strong to the point were I can't even drink my drink. Welch Ave's drinks are never too strong and the staff is very nice and the atmosphere of the bar is very chill and nice, which is a nice change. The location of the bar is also very convenient because it is right on welch ave in the center of campustown and it is also at the bottom of Pizza Pit so if you ever get hungry you can just order from your waitress and the food will be brought down. ...read more
