WE GOT BURGLARIZED!!! Originally, we made an agreement to lock up our house. However, at the very last minute, the workers were arguing with us saying that their boss told us to crack the windows and doors. We had no choice but to follow their directions. Some one or some people cut our tent and broke our window. They came in and now we don't even know if the tenting even worked!! NOW we took a lost! Ed, the 'boss' is rude on the phone, lies by the salesman and no return calls about questions concerning the 'tenting' of my home...Would not recommend doing business with these people. About 5 years ago I my home tent treated but had a very bad experience with them damaging my pvc water pipe which flooded parts of my home. A friend referred me to Sandwich Isle and told me he was happy with the tent treatment. I was hesitant at first but figured I'll give them another try, I mentioned my concerns to the sales rep James Dumas who assured me they would do a good job on my home. On July 21, 2009 I took off from work to meet with Sandwich Isle at 1:00 PM, after waiting 1.5 hours, they called me to say they would have to reschedule. I asked for the manager and told him that they made me take off from work for nothing, he said he would call me back. After the manager called me back he said they would arrive about 3:30 PM. After they completed the job I learned that they missed treating two of my sink areas. We just had our house tented by diversified exterminators last night. This morning we found our house robbed of personal items, TV, video camera, cash, jewelery box and other little items. This company has a history of employees stealing from tented houses. We strongly feel this was an inside job. Too much evidence points to someone who new where things were and how to get in. The company said the tent was cut with a razor, but took the tent down earlier than expected, rolled away the cut tent and took off before the police arrived. Our stolen jewelry box was found by a shop owner in a parking lot two blocks from diversified exterminators office. THe cops arent going to do anything so we feel the best way to handle this is to spread the word about this company. Don't trust them!!!!!! ...read more
