Hoaloha Kai Montessori School is a warm, beautiful, and wonderful school. The academics are excellent and based on concrete learning with lots of manipulatives and didactic materials--a development and science based method of learning.The teachers are dedicated and loving with the children while helping the children to learn how to concentrate, complete activities and tasks, and become learners that will last through their lifetimes. We are definitely a community--parents socialize and enjoy each other outside of school, me meet together for parent nights and presentations, have service projects, and lots of fun together at Harvest Festival, the walk-a-thon, Thanksgiving, Holiday class presentations, Auction and Gala, etc.This is a growing school. While Montessori has been widely known for more than 100 year, HKMS has been in existence for 4 years.
