I had to go to Honolulu to get a pair of pointe shoes because the Big Island did not have any place to really go for that. The manager, Gena, is super cool and is very knowledgeable about dance and what the dancer needs. She helped me out picking a pair of pointe shoes and she knew exactly which ones would be best for my feet without going through a whole bunch. Having that knowledge made me feel very comfortable and taken care of. Yeah, the store could be bigger but what do you expect for a store out in the middle of the Pacific!!
