If you are searching for a career or work, the Oahu Work Links office is not the place. You might be able to locate some job leads on their computer system, but the staff is not available. Everything in the "One Stop Center" has moved from service to self service. Owl, once called Work Hawaii,combined their once small "Work Hawaii" offices with the larger State office buildings. \t\n\t\nOne Stops were designed to support people with disabilities: handicapped, wheelchair bound, blind and so forth. RIght now the offices have been reduced in staff, some have closed and the old 'state' office atmosphere has prevailed. Some of the staff are completely unfeeling towards the client who depend on their assistance. \t\n\t\nIt has reverted back to the mundane, steel-metal desk, I don't care attitudes of the past.
