Riding the "U.F.O." to the Napali was amazing! Na Pali Coast Hanalei is a small family run company and was very personable from our first conversations over the phone. We went on a 28' powered Catamaran, called the "U.F.O.", and they only took 13 of us. At the very start we saw turtles and Hawaiian dolphins right out side the Hanalei Bay. We had really good sea conditions the day we went, so the captain was able to get us close to sea cliffs, under a waterfall and even inside several sea caves. We snorkeled at the end of the coastline and saw so many fish. The ride coming back from the coast was amazingly dry even though captain the captain picked up the speed. He said it was because we were traveling into the wind and waves going in this direction. It was so fun, we even caught some air!! I was pleased to see that they were open for a tour even in Mid October, and not from the south, but from Hanalei! The ride was short before we started to see mountain (volcano) peaks, but long enough for us to drift into a cave or two, and even get a waterfall shower. We are so glad we went with them!
