Original Review - from October 2009: Todd and his staff are truly refreshing to work with! You'll get no "stuffy" self-important jeweler attitude at Gold & Treasures. I purchased a set of rings from Todd/G&T in July 2008 to propose to my wife. Todd is so thorough and sat down with me and spent a little time educating me about diamonds; size, quality, color. He showed me about 10 different diamonds in the high-powered microscope so I could see the differences in what I'd be selecting (I see the review before mine didn't ask G&T about their microscope - it's a small store and they probably keep it off the front jewelry cases because there's not enough room. There's definitely one on Todd's desk where they do diamond consultations). A couple months before I purchased, I wasn't completely confident in what she would prefer regarding style. So Todd suggested that we set-up a little surprise jewelry party at their private showroom in the store. He had the wine & food ready and I brought the flowers and her. It was a fun surprise! Don't want to ever have to use another jeweler again.

Gold N Treasures is hard to find - corner of Grand and Avon in the basement of an old apartment building. It's a really nice local jewelery store with a good selection Tiffany-style lamps as well. My husband bought my wedding gift there - a diamond necklace. He walked in, said how much he wanted to spend, and let the owner (Todd) choose the gift. Very friendly & I loved the necklace!

Very good experience at the store. Is a small business and you get great service. No pressure sales too, which helps because I had a budget I wanted to stay under. Found prices very competitive with internet shopping - and I didn't have to wait for the shipping (which is good because I was last-minute shopping)

Todd and his staff are the most amazing people I have ever seen in the Jewelry business. I have shopped at the Galleria in Edina (big fan of Tiffany), MOA and pretty much every high end Jeweler in the Twin Cities. I even have family in the business but still chose to use Todd. His prices are UNBEATABLE, and his customer service is truly AMAZING! I have taken several photos of Jewelry over the years to him and he is usually near half the price. We have never felt snubbed walking into his shop. The staff is willing to open up every case in the place and let you try on all the beautiful Jewelry. If they don't have want you want....grab a piece of paper and Todd will help create your master piece. I honestly can not say enough good things about this place! We stopped in often over the last three years and started to actually feel silly never buying anything. I FINALLY purchased my new ring from Todd and could not be happier! Todd and his staff always treated us like friends rather than customers. If you are looking for a classy friendly and inviting Jeweler I high recommend this place. You wont be disappointed!
