The Boardwalk

Our roller derby team has used boardwalk in the past, but never again. After picking up an order yesterday (that they left until the last minute to do AND overcharged us on), we found that one of the shirts we had ordered had been substituted by something else. Upon returning to the business to ask about it, the man in charge, Ron, physically removed the shirt in question from my hand, threw behind the counter, and barked at the poor cashier to give me my money back. Then he gave me a smug look and said, "simple as that." I stopped him, and said, "I'd really just like the shirt I ordered." He then informed me that he couldn't get those shirts, and I just had to deal with it. I told him that he would no longer have our team's business, and he said that was just fine. I think if you're substituting something in someone's order, the proper thing to do is to inform the customer that you can't get what they ordered first, not just try to sneak something else in. I went to the pharmacy here for the first time this weekend. I went inside to fill a prescription. The young man behind the counter came out and threw a notepad in front of me and told me to fill out pertinent info. He was extremely rude and did not explain the medication he was giving me. I did not get his name, but he was young with blonde hair. I will never return to this pharmacy again. ...read more
