I sent money for a part to Thomas Thompson. Then for 3+ weeks I had to ask him daily about mailing the part. He was mostly unresponsive and then aloof when we did talk. The part arrived damaged- an ECM that was already burned out. A certfied mechanic removed it from the box and then explained to Tom Thompson of it's condition. Thompson blamed the mechanic and then me for breaking his part. In trying to resolve the matter, Tom Thompson hurled insult after insult. He has refused to refund ANY money and will not replace the unit I mailed back to him. When I searched: Thomas Thompson Scam- Wow- lots of victims with the same story. Thomas Thompson pushed his bad days with customers on me starting business asking how much I want to pay, coming in under his selling price he replied back with a very rude response giving me an analogy of a bike helmet in comparison to his exorbitant price. He dealing with customers day in a day out, they giving a price they may have found from an insurance buyout or refurbed "junkyard" part, he comes back with blunt replies that are very rude, passive responses with explicative undertones. Whether one buys from ebay, craigslist, etc--it does not matter if it is 100% new or used, ALL will fail, they are electronic not perfect. Wherever one buys an item is up to the buyer and no matter where it is sold, it is that avenue one takes to try and make money.
