Horrible experience. Has cost me thousands in penalties for inadequate preparation of my 2012 and 2013 taxes (no filing of city taxes done). More details... At first Bryan was helpful and they did a good job of taking care of the paperwork and setting up fund transfers for my business tax payments. Gradually it became harder and harder to obtain any response from Bryan and important tax information and issues would go left unresolved for months, without a single response (despite repeated calls and emails to his office). Most emails I was just pleading to be updated on the issue after months of not hearing anything, still couldn't get Bryan to respond. Last year I gave them all my tax paperwork in the first week of February and was contacted 3 days before my personal and business tax payments were due with an email saying they were running behind and I would have print off and mail all the documents myself and they would send me all my formal paperwork shortly. Um...why am I paying you over $1000!? How do you not have time to get this done for me when you had my paperwork over 2 months!? I was hounded by the IRS for late filing of my 2012 taxes, though I had supposedly been given an extension. It took over a year of countless emails and phone calls pleading with Bryan and his office to fix this issue. It got to the point I was receiving threats for IRS levies and repossessions! At no point was I ever contacted or informed of the status of the matter. I only got information and results when I finally was able to call Bryan directly on his personal phone and demand that this be taken care of. After I moved it became even harder to contact them. Bryan neglected to pay/include my city tax for 2012 and 2013, stating St. Louis (where I moved to) is one of only 2 cities not on the east coast that have that tax...NOT TRUE! Kansas City and various other cities have the same tax...now I'm paying huge penalties, which have only grown larger (due to interest) after being unable to contact or receive any word/help regarding getting these penalties paid off. I HAVE KNOW CHARLES FOR WELL OVER 25YRS. HE HAS BEEN MY ACCOUNTANT EVER SINCE MY HUSBAND AND I WHERE MARRIED. I HAVE ENJOYED HIS SERVICES AND FRIENDSHIP. HE IS VERY PERSONAL AND MAKES SURE THAT HE CAN FIND EVERY AVENUE TO GET AS MUCH BACK ON YOUR TAXES AS POSSIBLE.
