This company has fraudulent practices and cost me to lose my home. They stole $2000 from me and my family and absolutely refused to refund me. If I can prevent this from happening to another innocent family I will do so at ALL COSTS. \t\n\t\nPlease be aware that in this economy there are piranhas circling the metropolitan area for people who are hardworking and seeking genuine assistance from professionals. They will go in for the kill without regard or conscience. This company will do with pen and paper what is the equivalent of being robbed or mugged on the street. Do not be fooled by the facade of a legitimate business that is "set-up" to make you believe that this is an upstanding operation.\t\n\t\nMay God have no mercy on their souls. I regret the day I heard about this company and will gladly continue to make my story public within every venue available until they are in jail and out of business for good. ...read more

Make The Decision To Take Back Your Life Today!

Our service exists for one purpose-- to help people through the bankruptcy process. We do this by several different methods: 1.  We can do all the paper work on your petition, without the assistance of an attorney.  You must go to the court, on your own, to file your papers and go to your court hearings without an attorney to represent you.  You must pay court cost and any other cost associated with your case, separately from the fee for our services to prepare your petition.  The fee for petition preparation services using this method is $200.00. 2.  For a little more money, you can have an attorney consult with you by phone, to help you over the rough spots, and to advise you, if anything happens at your hearing that you don't understand.  The fee for our services using this method is $400.00. 3.  We can refer you to a full service attorney, who will get your paper work prepared, electronically file with the court, go with you to the court hearings, and handle any problems that arise.  Our full-service attorneys charge $1,000.00 for services, using this method, and the $299.00 filing cost is included in that price.  You must pay a separate fee of $50.00 each or $75.00 per household for 2 required bankruptcy counseling courses-- 1 before you file and a 2nd personal financial management course, after you file. While you can file for bankruptcy completely on your own, it is not advised for you to do so, except in simple Chapter 7 cases.  Special circumstances are created when you have assets you are trying to save and/or lawsuits and garnishments have been filed against you.  Only an experienced bankruptcy lawyer knows how to handle special circumstances, properly. If you do not qualify for Chapter 7, we can also get you started in the Chapter 13 process and assist you in finding a lawyer to finish your forms and represent you .  The only additional up front cost will be $50 for the pre-bankruptcy credit counseling course and $274.00 court filing fees. I would welcome the opportunity to work with you, if you decide to use our service.  Please call or email us, when you are ready to get started on the process. Local Man Arrested in Fake Ministry Scheme

WSB TV News reported Wednesday that a local Marietta man, Boris Michael Surgent, 74 was arrested and charged with racketeering and theft by deception, after a raid on his business.  Surgent was running Trinity Corporation, supposedly a Christian based ministry, from his offices on Sandy Plains Road, Marietta.  The scheme began as early as January 2007, and took over $100,000.00 from approximately 25 known victims.  Mr. Surgent ran ads in local papers, claiming to help people with loan modification and avoidance of foreclosure. On the surface, the business looked like a legitimate business.  It was not until victims were about to lose homes to foreclosure and they were forced to file for bankruptcy, that they knew they had been deceived. Read more... WSB TV News Story Because the economy is bad, more and more of these schemes are always popping up.  Everyone must be careful in dealing with businesses offering help.  You must learn how to discern the good from the bad. A legitimate helping business will not ask for thousands of dollars up front.  Always investigate a business you are not familiar with, before paying money or signing any contract. You may not always find that every good business is registered with the Better Business Bureau, but you can always find someone who knows something about them. The best place to start discussing your financial situation is with a reputable non-profit credit counseling agency.  CredAbility has been around for a long time.  They have certified financial counselors, who are able to determine whether a plan can be worked out for repayment of debts, or whether a bankruptcy is the best choice. If you find that bankruptcy is the only choice you have, please contact us for a free consultation. Darlene Minter, Bankruptcy Paralegal Lori Browne, Bankruptcy Lawyer ...read more

Atlanta Attorney warns about Credit Settlement Agencies

Don't be fooled by companies, individuals, or law firms for that matter, that promise they can "fix" your credit or "adjust" your debt with your creditors.  The best place to start is with a reputable non-profit credit counseling agency, like CredAbility, as they can advise as to whether or not your debt to income ratio will allow for you to repay your creditors in a negotiated installment over time, short of filing for bankruptcy.  The law requires this counseling, anyway, before filing for bankruptcy, so there is nothing to lose.  DON'T pay ANYONE upfront fees or sign any contract which states that your hard earned money will go towards a payment schedule which pays that company's or firm's fees first, and then the remainder will go into an escrow account.  This amounts to a "forced savings plan" and does not really help a debtor.  It only lines the pockets of the company, while getting the debtor further and further into debt trouble with creditors.  Companies that engage in such practices are potentially subject to severe penalties.  If you think you have been a victim of one of these companies, contact attorney Lori Browne or bankruptcy paralegal Darlene Minter.
