I was shipped the wrong book for my order. The book I ordered was "Right Rose, Right Place by Peter Schneider. The book I received was "How to Buy The Right Plants, Tools & Garden Supplies". I have e-mailed Belle's Books at Belle1466@aol.com twice and have not received a response. Could you tell me what I should do to resolve this issue. Thank you. A friend recommended this guy so I say why not support a friend of a friend. I called and made an appointment. When we were in I asked if he had enough time to get this done or should we file an extension; he said “no there is plenty of time I will get this done.” OK. I send him all my documents in email; get no acknowledgment - first red flag. I call. He says “yea I got them”; I ask about when I can expect to see some numbers, he says early next week. OK. I did not get ANY communication from him, so I called following Thursday and he says “o yea we are getting them out, I will send you yours later on today”. Once again nothing! I call on Saturday and say that I’m concerned the dead line is in 2 days (Tuesday) should we file an extension? The answer is “no you will have your return on Monday”. You probably know what is coming next. Monday at 3 pm I send him an email asking for status. Nothing. 4 pm I call him, he basically hangs up on me and I get this very nasty email which states that he is doing me a favor and I need to lay off him or he will not get this done! Not sure about favor part. I agreed to pay his full fee, as far as I am concerned I am doing him a favor. Bigger issue is - this is afternoon before the deadline. Also I had never had accountant do itemized business expenses where he did not have one question on my bank transactions, so it’s clear this guy did not even look at my stuff and lying to me. I tell him that I do not do business with people without integrity and my husband will be over to pick up our documents. I get a reply that he is not even in the office! and will not be back until after 6 pm! Again a day before the dead line! You would think this was end of story but NO it gets better. I go to get my documents at 6 pm, he hands me an envelope and I turn around and leave without saying a word. He runs after me and starts screaming that if I file a complaint he will go to IRS with my last year return. Threatening me! It took me a minute to process his threat! He did not even have a copy of my last year’s return! There is no talk about any kind of professionalism at this point - this guy has some serious mental issues. If you want someone like that to handle your financials, well than it’s your gamble. I made a mistake dealing with this mental case and hope this post will save some people from same experience. ...read more
