My family recently bought a chihuahua from petland as a Christmas present to my mom. She had been wanting one for a while and was thrilled when we gave it to her, only to find out that he had a disease called parvo 3 days later. We know it didn't come from us because he had to be exposed 7 to 10 days prior. We took him to the vet and the vet called to let petland know that one of their dogs had parvo and was supposed to be in quarantine but instead of shutting their doors and getting help for the helpless pups, they continued to sell dogs.
