I took my son to Sherri Rawsthorn for a year and a half. During that time I paid what I thought was a co-pay. She told me she was on my insurance, but wasn't listed because all the paperwork was still in process. But regardless, she told me we just needed to pay the co-pay. Every couple months I asked for a copy of the bill so I could have my ex-husband pay his half of the co-pay. She would give me a huge bill that didn't make sense, but she always said she had not had time to sort it out and not to panick when I saw it because I really didn't owe that much. But she also stated not to worry that I don't owe all of that she just had not filed it. She was not on my insurance after all, but never told me that fell through. As a single mom, I couldn't pay more than the co-pay. Well I ended up getting married and then she slapped us with over a $1,500 bill all at once. I was very shocked that she lied to me and then slapped us with the outstanding bill that she said 'she'd work it out' all the time. Nice person, but billing is definitely not her priority and since we're paying the bills I would not recommend getting into the mess we've been in with her.
