I have been developing an ASP.NET website with MySQL database on my Visual Studio 2008 development system at home for several months now and uploading periodically to GraceNet, but have encountered too many technical issues with GraceNet web hosting, specifically with ASP.NET 3.5 and MySQL. Their Windows support is only one person. Response time to service requests has been reasonable (1-2 days), but lacking technical information. For example, they were unable to resolve the System.Data.Entity issue when migrating from ASP.NET 2.0 to 3.5. I had to spend several hours digging up the information myself to resolve the issue. Their MySQL database interface is difficult to follow and implement. Sometimes, my website quits working for no reason at all from my side. GraceNet replies with a single sentence, "Sometimes we have to reset the config file." This is totally unacceptable for a thriving Internet business.
