Bethany is a place of healing. It's a place to grow in Christ and in community. This is one of the first churches I've attended as an adult that literally feels like a family. The pastor always preaches from the Bible. Some pastors use more stories or commentary, but Pastor Jimmy always pulls his main context from Scripture, which I really appreciate. The youth and children's ministries are phenomenal. My husband and I don't have children yet, but I can't wait for the day that our child can go through their AWANA program and youth group. The minute you walk through the doors you feel something different at this church. The people are friendly and loving. My family and I were greeted and given a program for Sunday worship service. We were escorted to some empty seats and then 3 more families came up and introduced themselves! The service was traditional but definitely not boring. Going to this church was like stepping back into the church I grew up in. The music was out of this world with traditional hymns and songs, and the preaching was good old fashion soul winning preaching. If you like church to be church and not a rock concert you have to try this church. ...read more
