Verizon has been OK so far, but one thing to beware has cropped up. Normally we have used email to conduct all business with them, but recently this particular store has begun calling and leaving messages which amount to sales pitches to add larger data plans and such. We did not sign up for this and frankly find it quite obnoxious. If we wanted wall to wall sales pitches we'd stay home in front of the TV and wait for telemarketers to call our landline. The other day I was buzzing aroundFrysand decided to take a hard look at netbooks vs. notebooks. The obvious issues to compare are: Screen Size – To me this is the most legitimate issue in deciding which is better for you. Battery Life – Do you travel a lot? This could be a deciding factor sincenetbookshave a battery life approximately 3 times longer than the averagelaptop. Performance – If you are going to use thenetbookfor its intended purpose, to surf the internet or do email, this will not be an issue. If you want to do graphics processing it will be an issue. Keyboard – This is a real issue especially if you have large hands. Optical Drive – The lack of cd/dvd drives, to me, is of no consequence due toUSB flash drives.
