Covington Ford had a Truck listed on their website and on Autotrader and was being advertised to be in great running order. We called down to the Used Car manager Sammy Padgett and told him I would like to purchase the truck and have it shipped to me in Raleigh. He said the truck runs good I took his word for it and we negotiated a price. I then decided that I would take one of my employees with me and we would make the 6.5 hour drive down ourselves and drives the truck back. We got down to look at the Diesel truck after the drive and it had already been warmed up so we couldnt start it cold and it had a very bad missfire along with a ton of white smoke coming out of the exhaust. After confronting the Sales Manager Dedrick Hamm he admitted to knowing the tuck had this problem and agreed to have their technician look at it. The technician determined that it had multiple bad injectors along with bad blow by and would need a new motor (which Cost around $6500 for this model truck). We then confronted the General manager Matt Crowe and asked him why we were lied to and why did they try to steal our $10,000 from us for this truck. He yelled and screamed told us to get his dealership and even told me he wanted to take it outside and fight me (ridiculous). All in all if I would have shipped it they would have my money and I would be stuck with a worthless truck with a bad motor. Please save your time and money and don't shop here; as a dealer myself I hate reading some of the bad reviews some people write about other dealers because most of the time they are not legitimate. But this team of thieves blatantly tried to steal from me and my company and it is people like this that give car dealers the bad name we have been accustomed to. ...read more

The 2011 Chevrolet Cruze will replace Cobalt as the compact car from General Motors' volume division. Cruze is a 4-door sedan that comes in LS, LT, LTZ, and fuel-economy-oriented Eco trim levels. The LS has a 136-horsepower 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine. The LT, LTZ, and Eco use a 138-horsepower turbocharged 1.4-liter 4-cylinder engine. A 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission is available on all models. Among the available features are a wireless cell-phone link and navigation system.
