Climax is a part of the Decatur County region/metro area of Georgia. Major attractions include Rattlesnake Roundup and Jack Wingate Open. Each year in the spring there is the Annual Rose Festival and Parade. Among the biggest companies in Climax are Sowega Cotton and Dawghaus. The biggest schools here are Decatur and Grady Head Start and Climax Elementary School. One of the best places to visit when you are in Climax is Rose Festival.
