Below you will find a very sweet letter that was written to our salon by our client's boyfriend! To whom it may concern (PLEASE MAKE SURE THE OWNER SEES THIS), On Friday, July 16th I called at approximately 5:00pm with what I would consider the biggest emergency of my life--my girlfriend's water had broken and we had a baby on the way. We had a baby on the way…but not before my girlfriend decidedshewas going to be ready to go to the hospital. There were a few "things" that needed to be done: 1. Hair 2. Nails (fingers and toes) 3. Eyebrows 4. Car Detailed I came across your salon in a frantic Google search in transit from my office inAtlantato her home in Buford--I thought you guys may have been able to help out with a few of these "things". In fact, the receptionist informed me they your staff could handle three of the four on our/herlist. We arrived around 5:45pm and a team of wonderful ladies went to work on my baby--cutting, shaping, and polishing. They even worked to calm my nerves with an ice cold beverage. I set up shop at the café tables outside (as not to take away from calming atmosphere inside) and enjoyed my drink and a light rain shower in between calling every doctor and contact I had to see if this was something we should really be doing with her water having already broken…not that it mattered as these "things" were non-negotiable on her list of things to do beforegoing to the hospital. As I waited for the mother of my baby girl to emerge, I noticed that the spa closes at 6:00pm on Fridays--I would have never known this by the way the team took care of my love. She walked out the door and I saw that the ladies had accomplished something I didn't think was possible…she was even more beautiful than when we had arrived (understand this is a huge compliment as she is already the most beautiful woman I have EVER seen in my life)! We left the spa, grabbed the bags and headed to the hospital…oh, did I forget that one of the ladies handed me a contact and number for a gentlemen who does on-sight car detailing?...ok, four for four at one spa…that's incredible! What I also forgot to mention is that when my baby got back into the car she was hungry. So we stopped for a full sit-down diner on the way to the hospital: steak, salmon and dessert. "Our day" has been the topic of almost every conversation with each new visitor we have had--and your team made it special. After 24 hours of labor, she gave birth to our beautiful baby girl, Abigail, at 7lbs 7oz and 19 3/4"--a beauty only rivaled by her mother's. Please relay my appreciation to your staff--they truly played a big part in two-day period that we will remember forever.
