Well if you did not, please mark your calenders for next year since you can drop off your paint cans, tires, mattress&box springs, computers, televisions, computer monitors, appliances, electronics, scrap metal, and other miscelloneous recyclable items FREE of charge at participating Whole Foods stores. Similar to previous years, this year's event held on April 20th was a smashing success judging from the many happy and appreciative customers who showed up. Our crew loaded the recyclable items dropped off by Whole Foods customers into our trucks and transported them to our warehouse where they were sorted out and prepared for recycling. The following week we delivered them in multiple truck loads to the State Approved & Certified Recycling Centers for each product. Multiple trips were needed since there are different recycling centers for appliances, for example, as opposed to tires and paint. The Stand Up Guys were at it again. This time we bailed out an HOA Supervisor that got herself into a junkie jam. All the crews were occupied, so our main man Carson stepped in and handled the entire situation the only way he knows how.. Like a baller! Carson got a call into the office from Naudia, who is an HOA Supervisor for a North Atlanta/Brookenhaven neighborhood. Naudia told Carson that someone had illegally dumped debris in one of the fields of the neighborhood. The worst part was that they had planned an event to take place on that field for months, and the event was the very next day. Needless to say, Naudia was in a bind and needed help. Today was just another normal day in the life of a Stand up Guy. We had a job over in Towne Lake. Towne Lake is a fairly large community located in Woodstock. It's easily one of our favorite places to work. Great people, great atmosphere, just a great place to work. Well today we had a job for a customer that was put in a pretty crappy situation. This guy owned a house in Towne Lake and rented it out to someone. Well the renter decided that he was going to skip out on rent and leave an enormous pile of fencing material in the back yard for the homeowner to clean up. Well the homeowner made the right decision. At first he dabbled with the idea of doing it all by himself, but came to the realization that it would be easier to hire professionals. Well he sure did find the right guys for the job. He called the one and only Stand Up Guys Junk Removal Crew and we were out at the Towne Lake property the very next day. We pulled up to the pile of junk at the Towne lake home before he could even blink. The pile was pretty big, but not to big for the Stand Up Guys.
