While the cathedra is built in a certain Gothic style, but chapels are built in various different styles. The two-towered church of St. Mary is of a brick built. The construction of the building dates back to the Tatar raid. The interior consists of carved wooden altarpiece, you can climb up and witness the hourly bugle call locally known as the ‘Hejnał’.  There are a lot of subterranean architectural wonders all over the town. Rynek Underground market square is among those. The witchy atmostphere around the place is a combination of the 21st century and the Middle Ages. The Clock Hall, where you go to buy the tickets is a place where you can see a giant clock showing tour timings and the availability of tickets.  Galicia Jewish Museum serves as both a memorial for the victims of the Jewish holocaust and a storehouse for Jewish cultural and historical insight. The ‘Traces of Memory’ exhibits a photographic trace along with video testimony of the once thriving Jewish community of Poland, especially, in the southeastern side of the country.    The Collegium Maius, constructed I the 15th-century is the oldest university building in the entirety of Poland.
