Future Now Detox

5.0

By Felix Lee

I received 6 days of NAD IV treatment a couple of weeks ago. I felt as if my clarity of mind was normal for 60 years old. After NAD I felt as if a fog had been lifted from my brain. In other words more clarity of thought. I am having at least 2 periods of REM sleep a night which is most restful and welcome. I imagine I have benefited on a cellular level not as noticeable. I normally have uncomfortable anxieties in New places around strangers. Future Now with its home like atmosphere and friendly employees made me feel safe, secure and comfortable. Russell, the chef, even made me the best(off menu) low cal chefs salads. The nurses, counselors and techs were friendly and in good humor. This probably trickles down from Andre the owner. He is a most caring and compassionate person. NAD is amazing. I highly recommend it. I would also recommend Future Now to administer it. Thanks Andre and staff for such good treatment. ...read more

Helpful Hints for Substance Abusers in Rehab Centers in Florida

It is common knowledge that drugs, and Alcohol are quite detrimental to the user’s health. However, that does not always signify that one may have an easy time walking away from something that their bodies have developed a physical and psychological dependence to. Some individuals use Alcohol and Drugs in order to fit in and feel as though they are part of the crowd.  Others do it under peer pressure, and others just believe that the worst just won’t happen to them.  Statistics of Substance Abuse in the United States Currently, there are over 20 million people in the United States who are both active and former addicts. According to the Centers forDisease Control and Prevention(CDC), from 2000 to 2015, more than half a million individuals died from drug overdoses. 91 Americans die every day from an opioid overdose. In 2017, the number of opiate overdose deaths has jumped to 144 per day. Addiction plays a multi-faceted role in how it affects society. Not only is it detrimental for the abuser’s overall health and risk of developing disease, it affects incarceration rates, vehicle accidents, employment and the overall financial burden placed on the government and health insurers. The National Institute onDrug Abusehas estimated that the annual financial burden to be in excess of $78.5 billion, including the costs of healthcare, lost productivity, addiction treatment, and criminal justice involvement. Reasons to Avoid Substance Abuse Reasons to Avoid Substance Abuse There are many reasons to avoid drugs & alcohol. So, the next time someone makes an offer to you, think about the consequences: 1. You might get sick or worse. 2. You might go to jail 3. You might so something very stupid (could affect the rest of your life). Saying No to Substances of Abuse and Making it Stick Saying No to Substances of Abuse and Making it Stick Most likely you have already been in a situation where someone has offered you drugs and alcohol. Remember, you don’t have to accept to fit in. No one can force you to do anything you don’t want to. Sometimes its not easy to keep your cool in the face of peer pressure. Say “NO” and walk away. Don’t worry about what your friends think. If they’re really your friends, they will respect your decision to refuse. Refusing can be as easy as telling someone:   “NO”, That’s not my thing, I’m good right now. Thanks. Humor can ease the tension in an awkward situation. Try one of these; I’m already addicted to shoe shopping; don’t need another expensive habit.  Thanks, but I’m already crazy enough without getting high. That stuff kills your brain cells and I don’t have any to spare. Say; you’re at a party and someone keeps passing you a joint, alcohol or some other drug. You’re not interested; you can say something like: Hey did I tell you about the time I…… Dude, you’ll never believe what happened yesterday……… Alternatives for Substance Abusers Try suggesting something else to do other than drugs & alcohol. Ask your friend if they feel like going to a movie, playing video games, or to the mall, the beach or whatever. There are many things that are fun in life that do not involve drugs. But; sometimes you’ll find yourself around a person who just will not stop pressuring you no matter how many times you say “NO” or divert, crack a joke or change the subject. In this situation the best thing to do is JUST WALK AWAY. It is better for you not to hang out with that person again, MOVE ON.
