Was told our insurance deductible was $1500, didn't receive an invoice, just a printed transaction receipt that just stated payment. The next day I was asked for another $2000 from the detox and then found out the deductible for the insurance was only $500, 2 days later they then said the extra $1000 was going to cover the extra two days the insurance wasn't going to cover! Why would they tell me it was part of my deductible? I told them I was transferring my husband to a different facility and he would not even be there five days, they told him we would get our money back, big misunderstanding! So the next day I had him transferred to a different facility and they are not going to refund our $1000! I called the insurance company and they told me I should not have been charged anything but the $500 deductible and that they should have not charged me for something since when he first got there, they didn't know how long he was supposed to in detox.
