Myself and a friend went out with Captain Mark. He provided everything I needed to enjoy a day of fishing! My friend isn't the best at fishing, to put it nicely, and Capt. Mark was able to get my friend to catch a few fish! His boat was very comfortable. We went out of the Gandy Boat ramp and spent the day catching trout and red fish. I brought home enough for dinner and Capt. Mark even cleaned them for me at the boat ramp. Cooked them for dinner that night!!! I plan on scheduling another trip very soon with him!!!!!! ...read more

Max and the staff at the Lithia location are just wonderful - I took a fly fishing 101 workshop there and it was fantastic. Cami and her staff in Ocala are pretty amazing to ! So much to shop for in their stores! Great selection and fair prices - a "must see" if you are in the area! ...read more

You would be hard pressed to find a worse experience than stopping in this place to buy supplies. The owners/employees are rude and unhelpful. If you are daring enough to ask a question they treat you like you are an idiot. The store is a dump and unorganized. I would advise Oldsmar residents to drive a little further to Clearwater Bait and Tackle (and no I dont work there or own the place). I would also not advise bringing small children into this place if you are trying to get them ""hooked"" on fishing, because the jerks in the store may ruin their experience. ...read more
