It's As Rare As A Two Headed Monkey!

Using Merchant Circle for advertising purposes is a new experience for Addicted 2 Tattoos. We have been members for many years, and have even received the Merchant Circle's 'Circle of Excellence' award for being a trusted and long established member as well as one of the most respected Tattoo Studios in our area. But, we have never really tried using the Merchant Circle system to offer any special deals to the general public. So this will be a grand experiment for us that will last only 30 days. We will evaluate the effectiveness of the effort at the end of that time and if it proves to be a good avenue to reach potential clients, we will think of other ways to use the system to offer special incentives to clients. So, to see our experiment, find our coupon!! All you have to do is mention the deal and that you found it on Merchant Circle. Simple as that! And it's actually good for prior clients and new clients . . . . So, if you want a great deal, and the best tattoo ever, from friendly tattoo artists that do great work, don't wait for the Two Headed Monkey, come in today! ...read more

Curious about your first tattoo?

Addicted 2 Tattoos will be offering a 3 hour informational seminar about the equipment used for tattoos, how we control disease transmission, what a tattoo artist requirements are for this state, county and city, and let you get a first-hand look at the inside of a tattoo studio in a non-intimitating, informal, friendly presentation by the studio owner. You will be given the opportunity to discuss your first tattoo and what you have questions about, like pricing, design ideas, where does it hurt the most and least, what kind of images work well for tattoos and which ones do not lead to successful tattoo choices, as well as how the whole process works. You will also meet a tattoo artist who is college educated, 20+ years experience, professional training and presentation skills, who runs a multi-award winning studio and has specialized in first timers since opening their studio. You will also be able to search through our extensive tattoo design library and reference resources and bring your own ideas in for evaluation. The presenter will be available for no more than 20 people for each in studio seminar, and can be booked for presentations at your location for no more than 30 people for each session. The cost is a reasonable $25 per person cost and reservations are required. In studio presentations are planned for Sunday afternoons, twice a month as demands dictate. Out of studio presentations will be arranged on an individual basis to best suit all parties. Reservations must be paid for in advance of the actual presentation date. Larger groups are also welcome to make inquiries about arranging a presentation. ...read more

FDA approval on Tattoo Inks??

Hi there, Let me please clarify. First the site you are looking at is not my site. I have no control over what is on this site. Where it references me:"Many tattoo artists do not feel comfortable using UV inks yet because the trend is relatively new, says Lenny Welch, a tattoo artist in Tampa."  These are my words. But notice in this one sentence, I do not state anything about FDA approval of tattoo inks in the US.   Please read this carefully. I simply stated that many artists are not comfortable using UV inks. Everything else on the site has nothing to do with me or anything I have ever posted in regards to FDA approval of any type of tattoo ink. Perhaps you should ask the site owner or whomever wrote this article make some clarifications. This one statement: RISKS: Although certain manufactures are making FDA approved UV inks is incorrect. To my knowledge, there are absolutely no inks that are FDA approved. It is something we tattoo artists have struggled with a long time. The FDA has made it clear to those of us in the industry that they are absolutely not interested in any approval process for our tattoo inks. We believe it is due to the liability factor that would rear it's ugly head if they did. The closest thing to any kind of control or oversight of our inks is happening in the State of California where all inks are required to be labeled with health warnings and MSDS sheets must be made available to the general public. But that's it. No help from anyone. So we tattoo artists are particularly careful to read MSDS sheets and educate ourselves to the possible health risks of the inks we use. And avoid using anything questionable. And to only use the very highest quality, made by the most respectable ink manufacturers in the US only. Anyone using inks from China or overseas is certainly making questionable decisions regarding their inks and their customers, IMHO. At least those artists like myself who are educated, and care about our customers and their well being. I hope this clears up things for you. If not, I'd be happy to discuss it further.
