This is by far one of the most dedicated group of people you will ever meet. I have never meet anyone as dedicated to what they are doing as Paul Burris. His tragic loss has touched may lives. Excellent nonprofit charity. This is the charity I support. ...read more

Why Mt. Moriah Is Here...
Mt. Moriah means in Hebrew "God Provides" or "Provided by God." Mt. Moriah is the mountain that Abraham climbed with Issac when he was going to offer his son as a sacrifice. On the way up the mountain Issac said to Abraham, "Father we are going to offer a sacrifice to the Lord but we do not have an offering." Abraham replied, "God will provide." And on that mountain he did provide a ram in the bushes for the sacrifice, thus sparing Issac's life. Later in history we see God providing his Son Jesus Christ as a sacrifice for our sins. Certainly God Does Provide! We know that when God blesses us and we are to bless someone else. This thrift store is a non-profit that raises money for different charities and outreach programs. We give to such organizations as Pregnancy Help & Information Center, YMCA Kids to Camp Fund, Center for Biblical Studies, Alzheimers Research, WAY FM, The African Project, Campus Christian Fellowship, and more. We accept donations and the proceeds from the store go to further humanitarian and Christian efforts. We have a burden in our hearts for underprivelaged and it is our goal to help them physically and spiritually. Think about donating your unwanted or unused items to our store. We can offer you a tax deductible receipt. ...read more
