My first ethnic wedding ceremony & reception for 2011

I was hired to DJ the music for a ceremony&reception attended by about 95% Korean people. I stayed in touch with them by e-mail & phone. I found out that they only wanted piano music for the entire event. I arrived early & set up before the ceremony started. I provided various cordless mics & one of my sound systems. The ceremony went well & then …  there was no wedding party to introduce? Um, ok. So I just introduced the bride & groom (first names only, at their request) There was a blessing before all 128 people were going to eat a three course meal. I was not included among the diners & the main dish was my favorite, Lobster & Steak. After about three and a half hours of me playing piano music & not eating – while 128 others enjoyed the greatest meal on Earth – I left & went to a BK drive in. – by DJ Marty: The One Man Party ...read more
