Hello everyone, I am a Manager at the Seminole 8 Theatre, and we have just recently undergone another ownership change. Not to worry, however, as we're trying to make this transition as smooth and easy on the customers as possible. We are constantly in the process of renovating the theater, and we have small projects going at all times. The only thing we're missing is you! Since TouchStar Cinemas has purchased this cinema, we've redone the floors in the theaters, repainted the interior, added a terrific amount of film-themed decoration and promotion, installed two large widescreen Hi-Definition Television Screens in the lobby to showcase our showtimes and trailers of upcoming films, installed digital marquees above all auditorium doors, and best of all, DTS Digital Sound in 3 of our auditoriums (and more to come!) Also, within the month, we're installing a Digital 3-D Projector so you can watch some of the select films this summer in Digital 3D. Make sure to bring the whole family! We're constantly analyzing our local market and picking the films that would do best here, and more importantly films that you want to see. To suggest any upcoming films, simply bring your requests to the management at the theater or send an e-mail to our corporate office (listed below). Keep in mind, we're continuing our tradition of having discounted films every tuesday - $3.75 per admission all day long for selected films. You can find out what these films are ahead of time by calling our showtimes number (listed below). There's a lot more going on, and various deals and upgrades will continue to occur as long as you continue to visit our theater. My very shy son was meeting his friend there, who had already gone in. He handed the lady $20 (That I got out of the ATM just prior to dropping him off). The ticket cost $6. She gave him $4 back. He was too shy to make a fuss. My husband went back to talk to the manager. He said that couldn't have happened. My husband asked him to count the drawer to check. He left for a total of 2 minutes and said the drawer was not over. If the drawer was not over, then the girl selling the ticket pocketed the money. It was only $10, but what kind of message is that sending to my son? It's ok to steal $10? Who steals money from a little boy? This theater has started to turn around. Over a year ago, I would not have recommended it to anyone. I even got sick off there nacho's. That was 2 days of fun. But since they have reopened, I have seen a big change. The place is cleaner and the staff is making an effort. Like other people have posted it is a much quieter and safer place for your kids.
