A few years ago my daughter banged her tooth on the head of her older sister. I thought for sure that our eldest would have a huge cut on her head, but on the contrary, there was NO cut but a broken tooth! That pretty smile now had a dracula look with a tooth that looked like a vampire fang, not to mention the blood. We needed to take her to the dentist to get this checked out, the problem was, we have no dental benefits in our package at my job. Like many companies, great medical no dental or vision. So I had to do a search online for the best dental packages i could get. I looked at Humana health care and so many other dental companies, I couldn't find ANY that would save me the most money, until I found Ameriplan USA. I saw that I could save up to 80% on these procedures. That was attractive to me as the closer to "FREE" I could get the better. I started doing a little more research on the company and found that it was A+ Rated in the Better Business Bureau, and that Good Morning America promoted it positively on their "Money Saving" report. This was looking more and more like the savings plan I wanted to go with. I liked that they had NO WAITING PERIODS, ALL PREEXISTING CONDITIONS ARE COVERED. I mean to me it was a no brainer. My poor little girl whose smile would light up a room was now becoming self conscious as that tooth began affecting the other teeth. I know i'm going to have to get Orthodontics here in a few years and it's good to know that Im going to be paying significantly less than most people out there. Now that's just the dental portion of that. There is also a vision plan that goes along with it...Ameriplans, vision plan saved me hundreds when my 2 year old decided that my glasses would work well as a ramp for his little cars. I had them on the counter while I took a little nap and while my wife was getting food prepared he decided to sneak them into the living room and use them as his personal ramp for his Tonka Trucks. After a few rounds of black electrical tape and some glue I had my glasses back!. Oh, but the embarrassment of walking around with glue and electrical tape on my glasses was not going to last long. Ameriplan has a great vision plan where I was able to log onto their website and get some frames at cost, then head over to my local Lenscrafters and see what I could get. What would have cost me $400 for an exam/frames/lenses turned into just over $100...Ameriplan was worth it's weight in gold. ...read more
