Nadia Aesthetic Salon
By scl October 25, 2014
I also bought the same packages and Nadia refuses to accept them....even though i PAID for both! She is not honest and trustworthy. I think she was hoping to gain clients through this promotion, but as she is not honoring these visits that have already been paid for then she is only going to loose clients and gain a bad reputation! In conclusion.....I wouldn't give another dime to her and I suggest that no one else does either. ...read more
Les Ciseaux
By BlondeandBeautiful April 23, 2014
I came to Les Ciseaux and was put into the incredibly capable hands of Diana Baker. Another salon had destroyed my color and Diana was able to diagnose and solve my dilema immediately. Additionally, we worked together to find a cut that is so flattering I can hardly beleive it! What a treasure this woman is! I am singing her praises to everyone I know and thoroughly recommend her services! Thank you, Diana! ...read more

Sarasota Hair Salon Donates Hair for Oil Spill Clean Up Efforts
EuroModa Hair Design, a Sarasota hair salon, is donating hair to assist in cleaning up the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Domenic Rocco, a Sarasota master hair stylist discovered the hair stylistsat their hair salon were all talking about the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. One of their clients told them she had heard you can donate hair to help with the clean up. Domenic immediately started searching the Internet to find out how they could donate hair and found an organization called Matter of Trust. Matter of Trust, founded in 1998, is is a non-profit organization that has a mission to link ideas, spark action and materialize sustainable systems. One of their projects is to collect hair to create oil spill hair mats and hair booms. Both of these items uses natural fibers (hair) to help soak up and clean up oil that has been spilled in the Gulf of Mexico and other places. Matter of Trust currently has 15 locations across the gulf coast to collect hair and stockings from donors like EuroModa Hair Design. Volunteers at these locations stuff the hair into the stockings to create hair booms that will be used to soak up oil. Domenic is proud that EuroModa Hair Design is sending hair from their clients to help with the clean up in the Gulf of Mexico. You can help too. Just go to EuroModa Hair Design and get a hair cut from one of their hair stylists and they will use your hair to help keep the Gulf of Mexico beautiful. ...read more

How to Clean your Wig
Generally, a wig should be washed after 12-15 wearings. Factors such as air quality and humidity will contribute to frequency of washing, as it does with your own hair. Always keep your own hair clean when wearing your wig to reduce washing frequency. Before washing, brush straight styles gently but completely with a wire brush. Brush curly styles lightly with a vent brush or pick, keeping curls intact. Add a cap of Wig Shampoo to basin of cool water (never use hot water). Immerse wig, dousing it gently, and allow to soak for 2 minutes. Rinse completely by swishing in clean, cool water. Gently squeeze excess water from wig. For high luster and softness, apply hair conditioner. Leave on 5 minutes and rinse well, in cool water. Gently squeeze out excess water. On curly styles, lightly finger squeeze curls while wig is still wet. On all styles, gently towel blot wig to remove excess wetness. Place wig on a form and allow to air dry naturally. Do NOT comb or brush a wet wig unless you are completely restyling it. After wig is dry, shake out and style. Always place dry wig on wig stand when not being worn. Human Hair Blends and 100% Human Hair wigs should be blow dried and or set to achieve a natural look. You may want Fashion Wigs to do this for you professionally. Even if you wash your own wig, occasional professional styling by us is important. We charge between - for this service, depending on whether your wig is synthetic, or Human Hair. If you are out of our area you can send us your wig and we will return it to you, washed, conditioned and styled. Shipping charges will be added to the cost. ...read more
