Bought shoes in Environeers for a friend as a GIFT. Wanted to do business with a local retailer instead of on-line! Sales person was Great!!! The shoes did not fit correctly...so I went in to exchange them. As I entered the store iI explained to the person behind the desk ,I need to exchange these and the person I bought them for we be in the store in a moment...He said OK. My friend came in and went to try on shorts SUDDENLY ..The person behind the desk comes over to me and asks who was my sales person...He said she new better than to sell shoes as a gift.He said "Your Feet Must Be In The Store" to buy shoes! At this point he was working himself up and his voice was getting loud!!! Finding out he was the OWNER.... Will never SHOP THERE again not because of his sales help...But because of his bad business manor... Sometimes people should stay out of the public..and let there sales people who have manors do the (public) work!! ...read more

The writer is not telling the truth. We have lots of customers who USE our expertise to fit footwear and backpacks and the go elsewhere (usually the internet) to purchase the item. We DO NOT charge money to try on shoes or backpacks. We DO charge a fee to be fit which is subtracted off the price of the items being purchaesd. MOST customers appreciate the service. Those who want to USE us usually write untruthful reviews. We've been in business for over 20 years. It's the good customers who have kept us in business, not those who intend to USE us. ...read more
