My family and I experienced numerous awful moving companies during my former moves that we were sure that we could never locate a trusty and a honest hauler. We're from Colorado and only have done freshwater trout fishing. We've spent September in Redington Shores and loved it. Our 6 year son is into fishing 110% so we wanted him to have a great experience catching some bigger fish. Captain Steve of Seminole Wind Charters took us out for a half day of inshore fishing on 9-26-2012. He got us on redfish immediately and we caught our limit. The best part of the trip was our son Jack catching the biggest fish - a 32 inch redfish (it was over the limit in size so it wasn't a keeper). He was just thrilled. Steve was very patient with Jack throughout the trip and made it a wonderful experience and memory for us. We wholeheartedly recommend Captain Steve and his company Seminole Wind Carters. Richard, Jen and Jack (the captain and guide in training!) ...read more

Renaissance Vinoy St. Petersburg Resort & Golf Club

We booked the room (which they called a suite) based on the pictures and description from hotels/expedia. Upon arrival, the desk staff was arrogant and condescending.\t\nWhen we opened the door to the room, we new a mistake had been made. The room was a hovel. Our "suite" had a view of the roof, a broken down, lumpy bed, dirt, and dust everywhere, cracked and dented furniture, a broken window, a scratched up desk with a cheap plastic chair, and a bathroom the size of a closet.\t\nWe went down to the front desk, and Clinton told us there was nothing he could do. He had a well rehearsed list of excuses, but his main reason was that we booked via hotels/expedia and not through the vinoy directly. Clinton told us to call hotels/expedia and complain to them. Upon calling hotels/expedia, they told us to go back down and complain to Clinton. After 30 minutes of this run-around, I demanded a full refund and said we refused to stay there. Clinton refused to give us a refund, so I ended up calling my credit card company to file a despute. Make NO MISTAKE, none of this incident was a blunder or accident. The vinoy will show you great on-line photos of certain rooms, but then give you something entirely different. The staffs excuses and behavior is well rehearsed and polished. Its a plain old fashioned "bait and switch" scam! This is the single worst hotel experience we have ever had, and that includes 3rd world countries. ...read more

My wife "won" this cruise a few months ago. We are scheduled to leave on April 18th and stay till the 21st at the Bell Channel Hotel. So far we have paid $99.00 per person for Port tax and $87.50 per person for registration fees. Today I was told that we still owed $27.50 a piece for "departure fees and $10.00 a piece for "homeland security fees".\t\n\t\nThe reservation specialist is now trying to get us to "upgrade" to a different hotel.\t\n\t\nI remember when my wife won this thing I thought, it was too good to be true. Well I have to much invested not to take the stupid Cruise now.....\t\n\t\nSo like the other person I will just have to wait and see what happens. I will not upgrade the hotel....\t\n\t\nI have sent a letter to the reservation specialist asking if there are anyother fees that i need to be made aware of that I still owe and that I want a phone number to verify our reservation at the Bell channel hotel.\t\n\t\nSo lets see so far how much this "free" trip really is:\t\n\t\nPort taxes $198.00, registration fees $175.00, departure fees $55.00, and homeland security fee $20.00 so far that totals out to $448.00!!!!!!!\t\n\t\nThe question is not whether or not it is a scam or not, the question I now ask myself is whether or not the cruise even exists.\t\n\t\nI will be checkng on it. ...read more

Seriously, use your instincts if you lack common sense here.\t\nLike you have heard before "IF ITS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT PROBABLY IS"\t\nAnd more importantly FINE PRINT is there for you to miss, and it holds the key info to make or break the deal. Me and my fiance recieved the call on same day, luckily she isnt impulsive and im paranoid, so they never had a prayer.\t\nfirst thing i did for fun was check better business burea and they had no rating\t\nI believe they were incorperated in 2007 spent about 100-150 dollars on that then $200 on a clean looking website and THATS A BUSINESS, the ONLY good reveiw on HERE! said trip was a few years ago, hmmmm. and it costed about or around xx.xx for registration, then..... it was $99.99 for port tax, mmmmhmm... read the only good review twice it completley sounds like a suit playing customer. SORRY\t\nbut money is even harder to come by now more than ever and a FREE trip should be FREE, port tax is understandable.\t\ni wish everybody would read this first before pulling out the VISA.\t\nI like everybody elses reviews as well. ...read more

I signed up for this free cruise at a little gas station in an out of the way little hick town. Within days I found out that I had won a free cruise. Yippie! I thought. Anyway I went through calling the the scoundrel that calls himself Danny O'Brian and listened to his very vague, very long pre recorded message. By the way did you notice how he is long winded on his explanation of why he doesn't talk directly with customers? I found it suspicious & laughable! So I decided to do some research and sure as you know what- I found not only this site full of complaints. I don't count the 2 raving reviews because it is very obvious that the criminals behind this scam are trying to do damage control- but the proof of this scamming "company" lies with the Better BB. This company rated as unsatisfactory! Also, I don't know about you but when I go on a cruise- I want to stay in my own cabin. A free cruise should include this and be Up Front that there will be no personal space to do your private & personal business such as changing your clothes etc. I don't care to have to stand for the duration of this boat ride with all of my belongings on my back for any amount of time. The one thing that really stands out in my mind from listening to Mr. O'Brian's prerecorded nonsense is this; he states, My wife and I put more into planning this vacation than we have ever put into our own. They must travel like gypsies. I feel like taking the trip just for entertainment value to laugh at the gypsies that have all of their belongings on their backs like a bunch of camels. ha ha ha lol. Anyway I look forward to reading the next damage control comment after this one, because I know that Mr. O'Brian and his supposid wife if he even has one will be writing soon, so Stay Tunned, and until then just say no. Don't be scammed & don't be a victim of this type of fraud. Love, One Smart Cookie ...read more

I would say this hotel was just average. It does have a private beach, but it really isn't anything special. The water is dead and stagnant here. The kids I was with complained it was stinky. The beach looks like seashell waste land. I had kids cutting their feet on the beach for all of the broken shells. The pools were ok, but murky. I didn't see the fitness center, but I know some of the kids used it with no complaints. We were in a large group, and they were bringing in some meals for us. The supper's they brought in were great, but breakfast was horrible......boxes of cr@p food (poptarts). The rooms were clean but very small. Probably the smallest hotel rooms I've ever seen. The bar on the beach was Great and the Bartender was a really nice guy and they have live music often. Don't order drinks in the restaurant. After your meal, go to the bar on the beach. The drinks from the restaurant's bar are weak, much smaller and cost more. The hotel arranged a tour bus for us to go shopping. Do not do that! The bus company they set us up with was an absolute nightmare. I wrote a review for them (Anywhere Tours), you can go look there if you want to see what a mess we walked into with that. The Hotel staff everywhere in the hotel was helpful and nice. ...read more

i got a phone call saturday on "winning" a free cruise to the Bahamas. But i only was given until this Tuesday to respond. I would be required to pay a "registration fee" of $175 for 2 people. Since when does a "winner" pay for relgistration?? I can understand the port charges, but definitely not the "required" payment of $175, plus whatever else is hidden.\t\ni will be checking with florida A.G. come monday and find out how this company can charge for registration on a free cruise.\t\nmaybe if all of us nit-wits were to keep their phone lines busy.... ...read more

Finding Limousine Rental Services in St. Petersburg, FL

Acquiring a limousine rental service provides tourists, businessmen and other visitors with reliable, comfortable and discreet transportation. The bestSt. Petersburg limousines offer complementary newspapers and light refreshments, which allow business travelers to relax and focus on their upcoming meetings. A limousine service in Tampa typically has fleet vehicles that seat between six, eight, and ten passengers, and all equipped with privacy screens to allow for private meetings and discussions.Meeting planners and corporate travel staff members would be remiss if they didn't set up a corporate account with their preferred limousine service. Doing so ensures that their guests, executives, and clients will be taken cared of, while billing is handled separately. Many Limo Rental Firms Offer Varying Types Of ServicesArriving at a Tampa-area airport could at times be a stressful and exhausting experience. When you use a Tampa limousine service to travel from Tampa International, Tampa St. Pete, or Ft Myers Regional to your destination, you'll be generally met at the arrival lounge by your driver, who will assist you in retrieving your luggage and transferring it to your limousine or executive car. Many Tampa firms offer airport transfer services, at competitive rates. For excursions, renting a limousine is a better way to see the many sights of the City. The bestSt. Petersburg limoservices have drivers who also serve as excellent tour guides, who can take you on standard or customized tours of the city. Many rental firms also have buses or vans for larger groups. When you rent a limo service, you'll never have to worry about parking, taxi fares, or finding your way around town. When going for a night-out, whether you're going clubbing, to the theater, or to a sporting event, getting a limo rental is a perfect way to travel in style. Many limo services here are equipped with a complementary bar and a professional driver, so you can revel in the nightlife in the city that never sleeps.Customers could check out the different Tampa limo rental services at the Yellow Pages, in newspapers, and online as well. They could also ask for assistance from the offices of the Florida Taxi and Limousine Commission.Limousine Services May Offer Varying RatesGetting the services of aSt. Petersburg limo rental may be quite puzzling at times, since they usually vary with the price levels they set. The standardized limo service will have the vehicle, driver and beverages. When it comes to the driver, make sure that the service provider will provide a uniformed driver for some rentals will cost $45.00 an hour, $85.00 an hour, or $125.00 an hour. All of the added amenities will be reflective in prices. The best way to get the most for your dollar money is by comparing products and services equally with other companies. Customers need to check out the year, make and model of the limousine. Some people may prefer a late-model vehicle, which is 2-3 years old. Check out the ads of some rentals and compare prices. Some ads may display claims of $45.00-rentals per hour. Always ensure that if such price is being offered, will you get a current model or a post-1997 limo?. After you have checked out the limousines' make and model, learn about other facts. Verify if the vehicle is licensed by the appropriate regulatory agencies. The vehicle must be licensed by the Department Of Motor Vehicles as a for hire limousine-livery. Most vehicle rentals also carry insurance liability coverage. Certain requirements are necessary for the vehicle to be licensed and registered, because in the even of an accident, the last thing you would want to find out, is that a limo was not insured as vehicle-for-hire.You don't have to go through all of these troubles if you hire St. Petersburg by November Limousine.
