Muvico Baywalk 20

I don't normally take the time to contribute but i was compelled after reviewing such a bad review for Baywalk. I have 2 teenagers and we always have a wonderful time at baywalk. We enjoy the Movies there and Gratzi restaurant upstairs which i highly recommend. Gratzi is classy, elegant and offers tantalising food with 5 * service. After a fantastic meal we proceed to the downstairs courtyard to relax and listen to a little jazz. Everyones Happy, smiles and laughter fill the air,and yes from teenagers too!\t\nI LOVE TEENAGERS,and happen to own a few, thank the good lord!! \t\nMy family thoroughly enjoys baywalk and have been going there for years. We love kids, teenagers, family, good music, dancing, and laughter, the good things in life. Baywalk is a great place to spend a night out for dinner and the movies. On the flip side, if you don't like kids, good dining, salsa dancing, and romantic jazz then go somewhere else that makes you happy. I wish we had a baywalk in Clearwater. Have fun everyone and God bless you- Stephanie ...read more

State Theatre Concerts

4.0

By futureman99 at Citysearch

An intimate venue where you can see larger quality acts for a fraction of the price / headache of seeing them in an arena sized venue. There is the strange no-reentry rule for patrons under 21 years of age. The law states that no one under 21 is allowed reentry if the place is serving alcohol (the State Theatre is full liquor). It is a non-smoking venue (again, the law), just like you cant smoke at the St. Pete Times Forum, you cant smoke at the State Theatre. There is no designated smoking area, so patrons do have to leave the building to smoke. So that does create an awkward situation for both security and patrons between 18-20 who are legally old enough to smoke, but are not allowed to exit/reenter the building. They are very strict in enforcing a no drugs/underage drinking/fighting policy. Parking can be an issue. Downtown St Pete's parking laws change depending on whether there is a baseball game or not. If you park on central avenue east of 7th street, you are safe from parking tickets. If you park west of 7th street on central avenue, you will get a ticket (again depending on if there's a game). But here's the catch - there are two 7th streets on central avenue, 7th street south dead ends east of the venue, then 7th street north continues west of the venue. Best just to park east of 7th street south, because the parking patrol can never come to a consensus as to which 7th street they're going to enforce. The city of St Pete has intentionally made it very confusing to park downtown, in the process generating more revenue for the city. ...read more

Gasparilla Tickets Inc. goes to Primary Ticket Market

Venues to Concerts, Sporting Events and Theaters Ticket have used a monopolizing ticketing company approach. Why should customers suffer by paying jacked up ticket prices and surcharges and numerous other charges on charges? There are some private venues that refuse to place this burden on its customers. Just to name a few they are Major League Baseball, Nascar, Pearl Jam, Madonna have chosen to use a private ticket broker that doesn’t charge thousands of dollars for setup fees. Who would do all of this and not charge, you ask? There must be a catch? My theory is simple we are all trying to accomplish one thing and that is to make money. Don’t turn away because I honestly believe that you did not arrive to this blog by accident. We pass on the service charge only to the customer in dollars. Min2>4. You pay nothing. We have more details when you call. We will have a legal representative contact you back to provide your information via fax within 24hrs. The concept is basic and if you don’t at least read this you are going to loose money. Gasparilla Ticket Inc is a ticket sales and distribution company based in Tampa, Florida USA with operations on the worldwide web that can reach many countries around the world. Typical Gasparilla Tickets clients (arenas, nightclubs and event halls) control their events, and Gasparilla Tickets Inc will acts as an agent, selling the tickets that the clients make available to them. Gasparilla Tickets Inc Primary market now sells a large percentage of its tickets online; some via toll free telephone number, and also offers a secondary market option. We can answer any questions concerning handling your box office, will call and e tickets, 24/7 via the Worldwide web at http://www.gasparillatixx.com/. We provide a bar-coded customized hard thermal ticket that can not be duplicated. We can send a ticket agent representative to handle a more personal box office at your event. We accept all major credit cards and offer overnight delivery with a secure worry free shopping experience. We have our own webmasters that can meet the challenges of customizing seating charts and we can even add details, right down to the history of your artist’s or directions to the show. WE LIKE TO SAY. All you have to do is promote your event, show up and get paid. The cost is ZERO to the Artists or Promoter. Every body wins if the bottom line shows positive gain not losses. Gasparilla Tickets Inc licensed software that has devoted significant resources to counter fraud. Other technology includes bar-coded tickets, which offers the ability for counterfeit tickets to be refused at the point of entrance via scanner. Really it is a no brainer. We have a firm retained to draw up a contract and we can sit down in person to discuss how you can increase your bottom line selling tickets to your venue. ...read more
