Took my cat there who was suffering from respiratory distress after a fall. They said I could invest thousands and he would only have 5-10% chance. The injury happened on Saturday before Thanksgiving. We had a vet tech neighbor check him out and she found no lumps, bumps, or breaks just a sprained paw. It took We just let him lay low as cats are prone to do. It was 2 days before symptoms began. By the time we got a ride to the vet, he was turning blue. We had to let him go. We could only afford the office charge and waived the euth shot and burial fee. I just hope the did give shots. I am haunted by him trying so hard to breathe his eyes were bugging. That is my last memory of him. They do not show any sympathy and were quite matter of fact and concerned mostly about geeing paid. What a sad place for my baby to end up. DO NOT GO TO A VET THAT IS PART OF A LARGE CORPORATE GROUP THEY WIILL REAM YOU OUT FINNANCIALLY AS YOU STAND THER HELPLESS AND HELD EMOTIONALLY HOSTAGE. I recently called several of these so called corporate vets and they were nasty and told me their services run atleast 2500 dollars or more for a service that most vets would charge no more than 5-6 hundred dollars for,and they told me my dog was going to die! They wanted me to take out "care credit" and or mortgage my home for my sick aninmal, sorry we couldn't so our animal died.. If there are only big corporations left to do vet services what do you think will happen to all the animals we all love? They all will become victums of the corporate pricing and pet insurance scams.Many people I have talked also had the same sad experience. They were either fleeced at emotional gunpoint or they sacrificed their animal's well being by not having access to affordable and reasonable care. One lady told me she had to pay 1900 for one nights care on her dog's leg, another paid over 3500 and then they still sent the dog home to dioe when his credit ran out and the dog did better at home than he was doing on their tubes. Their prices on theings are injurious to life and liberty. They are in violation of state gauging laws... BEWARE PEOPLE. Do you honestly want to see what has happend to people also happen to animals too?Please do not ever support these clinics and try hard to find a decent vet that will at least see you at night or on the weekend for a reasonable fee. There is no reason they can't see you. This complaint also includes VCA CHOICE veterinarinas who are a huge corporate monster that are trying to dominate the vet practices in the states.
