Went to this store first to get a new couch. I found just the one I wanted and decided to just get it instead of looking around for better prices. I asked for delivery and they said it would be the next day. Thats when it turned into a nightmare. First the delivery people ran over my garden and killed 2 plants. Then as they were bringing the couch in they damaged my door severely and left a scratch on the couch. I called Badcocks and got a woman on the phone, she said there was nothing they could do about it. Really?!?!?!? Your people did it!!! Went to South House last week to buy an ac unit for my bedroom. I was greeted by Mark's (the owner) oldest son Drew who was very professional and polite. He helped me puck out the correct ac for the size of my room and gave me a great price compared to what I had seen in Tallahassee. Mark's other son Tony and his nephew Ben were the ones who delivered my ac were amazing!! Tony came in smiling and put a huge smile on my face. Could not have asked for better service from delivery men. Most of the time when you get a delivery from a furniture store you get dirty men who don't like their job. But Ben and Tony seemed to love their job and we're clean cut and profesional. South House is truly family owned and has a great family atmosphere. WENT THERE TODAY TO GET A WASHING MACHINE AND DRYER AND THE SERVICE COULD NOT HAVE BEEN ANY BETTER!! MARK JUMPED RIGHT UP TO HELP US. THAT IS RARE THAT THE OWNER IS THE FIRST ONE TO GREET A CUSTOMER AT THE DOOR. I WILL ALWAYS SHOT THERE FOR ALL MY FURNITURE NEEDS. IT HAS A FAMILY ATMOSPHERE TO IT.
