James Pic is the most unprofessional "guide" I have ever come in contact with. Besides the fact that the guy is just batsh*t crazy, he does not know where and how to catch fish and is a ignorant duck hunter with no knowledge of the area. JP2 charters is notorious for being a pain to all other boaters, pros and weekend warriors. He calls the FWC and makes false reports on a near daily basis. This guy is unprofessional and should be avoided when seeking a guide as we booked with him twice and both times was a no show! The first time he cancelled the night before as we were set to go duck hunting but he got a last minute fishing booking and cancelled (via a text message) since it was worth more money to him. We gave him another opportunity a few weeks later and drove an hour from Destin, FL and when we arrived at 4:45 am in Panama Beach, FL he was no where to be seen, when we called him he stated that the weather was too windy to go hunting but never bothered to call. Perhaps this why he charges $125 for a hunt compared to the local competitors who charge $225-$250, you get what you pay for! ...read more

July is off to a great start! Weather is perfect and the fishing couldn't be better. Today we were on an 8 hour bottom fishing trip. With only 2 fisherman they managed to bring in 140 lbs of fish! Their catch included a 40 lb cobia, some monster snapper, and some nice grouper. We still have several opening for July. Call or e-mail me for more information.
