Palm City Sod

I ordered Sod much like the other guy, 2 pallets over the phone with a credit card, then read reviews, Oh boy I was a little nervous. Anyway I was told the sod would be delivered sometime on Friday, that was fine, I explained to the woman there where I needed it dropped. When I got home Friday there it was, just where I asked for it to be delivered, and it looked good. Green on top Brown on bottom, We spread most of it over the weekend then let about a third of the pallet sit for over a week, when we spread that it looked like most had died but we watered it and prayed for the best, it all finally came in nice. I purchased two palets of sod from this place. The first palet was delivered with no problem. I ordered another palet to be delivered the following weekend. When ordering the owner said that if I wanted the same sod delivered it would cost an additional $12. Being fairly pleased with the first sod and wanted the yard to look the same I agreed. The sod he delivered WAS not the same which driver knew because he snuck off before I had a chance to see it . the palet was about 2 feet shorter and the SOD FELL APART making it difficult to lay and as an added bonus it was infested with fire ants. I called back immediatly and the lady could not care less! She said she did not want to use the original sod farm and her only response was "thats just the way it is" (Not my idea of customer service) If you buy from this place you deffinitly want to check it out BEFORE it's dropped and dont let delivery driver drive that GIANT truck in your yard. I had a delivery of just one pallet of sod that has been on the ground for a week 70% DEAD. After calling their statement was there is no Guarantee on sod. I can understand that except this has been watered for a week straight. Still Brown.. They could of at least sent someone out to take a look and give advice. That won't happen. ...read more
