I bought a certify pre owned car from nissan and it was giving me a lot of problems. I took it to the nissan dealer and they want to charge me an arm and a leg to get my problem fix. I then took it to exclusive auto body, they fix my care for a good price. I was so happy. Thanks to Danny and his crew. DO NOT GO HERE!!! These people have horrible communication. No one ever knows what's going on with your car when you call and when they say they will call you back they never do. You have to blow up their phone in order to talk to anyone and good luck finding Danny (the owner) to talk to you, he is never there. Also when your car is finally finished I guarantee that you will be back a few times because they do a HORRIBLE job. My car still has things falling apart from what they say they fixed. This is the 2nd time useing this shop ! it took 1 day longer then what I was was told . So I went down there to see why ! And I talk to the paint guy and he took me over to my truck and show me that he was not happy with how the clear coat came out ! So he was going to wet sand it down and do it again and what a diff ! They stated that they have a life time guarantee on there repairs. My car alignment was wrong when they supposedly repaired it, but the computer said it was right. Visually you could see it was off, they stated if you have a problem bring it back. I bought four new tires so they would wear evenly. Only one tire wore uneven and that was where that problem was initially. I took it back and there solution was for me to buy two new rear tires and they would provide the alignment. One of the most frustrating things in my business can be dealing with insurance companies, and trying to inform customers what they're entitled to. Hopefully, you don't need this information any time soon, but if you're reading this, I will assume you're in need. Most people are still under the impression they must obtain 3 estimates, or take their car to an "insurance company shop" to have repairs covered under warranty, or they must live with used parts, or aftermarket parts, etc. I will try to keep this simple and informative. Whether you come to my shop or not, my main concern is to inform the consumer. NO insurance company guarantees the work of a body shop. Any reputable body shop has a warranty, we have a LIFETIME warranty. Regardless of the insurance company or not, if we repair your car, we will guarantee it for as long as you own your car. That's one of the first questions to ask a potential body shop. The bottom line is, of course the insurance company wants you to take your car to "their shop". This has nothing to do with a lifetime guarantee, or quality work. It has to do with money, and saving it, but not for you, for the insurance company. The insurance company has negotiated rates with certain body shops. What that means for you, is that body shop is now working below what they would normally charge. For this reduced rate, you often receive reduced work. Repaired parts, when parts should be replaced, cheap aftermarket parts, or even used parts, when OEM parts should be used, etc. You pay insurance premiums, you deserve to have your car repaired where you choose.
