Not enough supervision on the playground. They don't cover your child's medical expenses if anything happens. I would never consider this place for my child again and WOULDN'T recommend it to anyone. ...read more

Staff and directors refuse to talk to you if you don't speak Spanish. My friend speaks Spanish and referred me to this school- our kids in VPK together. She takes him out for unpaid vacation twice/ year--any 5 days she needs to be gone. I don't speak Spanish and only get 1 wk vacation/ yr--must be Mon-Fri. I am a single mom who works 2nd shift, Wed-Sun but they said No Exceptions. I pay late fees after 2 days late. My friend and her husband paid late so regularly that the school setup a special payment plan--no late fees. Staff greets them and converses with them at length. Even though I've gone out of my way to be engaging staff ignores me an tells me to check my emails if I want to know what my kid did that day. My kid graduated VPK a couple of months ago and they said they forgot to give my child a chance with the photographer on pic day in gowns! Everyone else got pictures. One of the graduation gifts my child received was a special frame for that pic. I even had to buy a special shirt to be worn on pic day. How am I supposed to console my child without openly bashing these teachers? I bust my behind to make money and they openly disrespect me and my child. ...read more

Childcare and Summer Camp

POCC is a center that focuses on developing and nurturing children from infants to school age. We are a Christian center that promotes the development of the “whole” child. Therefore our programs focus on all aspects of a child’s development. This includes physical, emotional, mental, social, communication, and creativity.   We offer many opportunities for social interaction, freedom, and individuality in a setting which is conducive to establishing a positive self-image. Our Christian based curriculum will allow the children to gain experience in many areas such as the bible, music, art, dramatic play, painting, drawing, math, reading, writing, science, and foreign languages just to name a few.We believe that children learn best through meaningful, relevant and active hands on experience. The parent is the child’s first teacher and therefore we encourage parents to participate in our daily activities. We also believe that parents should be kept fully informed of their child’s progress; hence our teachers are required to provide parents/guardians with frequent verbal and written reports. Our summer camp program is for children ages 5 to 14 years old. We have weekly themes and field trips that coincides with the theme. LEGOLAND, Gator land, Wonderworks, Bowling, and Disney Quest are just a few. The summer camp fees include all food, trips, and transportation. Please register before all spots are taken.
