This place is a nightmare!!! What dentist office do you know of that tries to charge patients over $1, 000 to pull 1 tooth?? Well this is that place!! He will sit there and tell you about all the other work you need done and just ignore the horrible pain your in and he is not sympathetic at all, he could care less about your financial situation all he wants is your money. He charged me $200 just for the office visit and an xray. Then surprise, if I wanted my tooth pulled that day it was going to be an additional $1, 200?!?! WHAT!!!?!? I left immediately and went to another dentist that understood my situation and only charged me $250 for EVERYTHING! !! This guy is a scam artist beware, im sure all the positive reviews were written either by him or his secretary. I was out $200 just so he could shove his dirty fingers in my mouth. For the life of me, I can't fathom why anyone would choose dental insurance over a dental discount plan when you sit down and compare the facts. It doesn't have to be OUR discount dental plan...ANY discount dental plan trumps dental insurance. Let's have a look at some of the reasons: 1)Insurance monthly premiums are far higher than discount dental plan monthly fees. 2)Insurance puts annual calendar limits in place of $1000 to $1500, meaning if your dental care is going to exceed that amount, you either have to pay the 100% of the overage out of pocket, despite the highly monthly premiums you are making, or you get to postpone the work until the following year. Discount programs have no limits. 3)Insurance plans generally have 30-60 day waiting periods before you can use them. Discount programs have no waiting period. You can use them the day you sign up. 4)Dental Insurance typically has a deductible you must meet before they kick in, discount plans take effect immediately, with no deductibles. 5)Dental Insurance rarely covers braces, teeth whitening or any other procedure they consider cosmetic; discount plans will save you money off these and any other procedures performed by a dentist or specialist.
