IF there were a 0 star rating, that's what I'd give Iron Mountain.We were an Iron Mountain customer for years. They stored our paper archive files for a 15 person office. In 2009 we moved into a warehouse and had space to store our own documents. We contacted Iron Mountain about obtaining our documents and closing our account. Iron Mountain immediately assessed our account and billed us $6,000 for closing our account. They claimed that the contract we signed which we didn't have a copy of allowed for such a termination fee. Apparently a low level employee who was no longer with our company. Iron Mountain was completely inflexible.Today it seems that some businesses are in business to provide a good service or product at a reasonable price while others are involved in a "money grab", trying to extract as much money as possible from customers. Iron Mountain is a "money grabber". There is no circumstance under which I would use Iron Mountain again. ...read more
