The staff at FPP is well trained to convince the curious shopper that they will provide a quality product, in a timely manner, with lots of warranties that cover any accidents. The reality is that they will tell you anything you need to hear before signing the contract. Afterwards, they sub-contract the work to terrible companies that have hired very unskilled labor workers, they are rarely organized to prevent long delays in work because different jobs are not coordinated well, they delay any complaints you have by telling you it will be worked out at the end and that we should just let them finish the job, and they do not provide any instructions for new pool owners on how to maintain the pool (thank you Pinch A Penny for all of your free instructional help!!!). Our pool is relatively new and already has required several people to come out and make repairs, this is because FPP will charge you for expensive equipment and then install cheap equipment!!! Salt water chlorination is the process of water sanitizing that uses chlorine gas produced with ordinary pool water and salt. The process uses electrolysis that breaks down salt into it's basic elements which are the active ingredient in all forms of chlorine. The chlorine gas produced kills algae and bacteria in the water then oxidizes the waste. The chlorine then regenerates back to salt and starts the process again.
