I find it egregious that within the goverment report, attachment 22, an IDEA and ERAI member was purchasing parts directly from a non-Vat Chinese e-waste dealer and selling the parts to L-3, Lockhead Martin and others. Classic example of 'screening' and moving e-waste. This PROVES that IDEA and ERAI are NOT effective in combating the e-waste problem so long as many of their members are mearly using these associations/clubs to move the highest quality e-waste. It makes the organizations look bad. In my opinion they are trying to 'limit competition' under the guise of 'we're better than the other guys cause we have 'testing procedures.' I don't think ERAI is as goodie two shoes as they would like to make themselves out to be. I have become to believe they play both sides of the fence which hurts many good "honest" businesses and doesn't use the power they have to oust the "non-honest" members. Just my opinion. It kind of irks me to read some of their articles, when they have done just the opposite of what they say. ...read more
